What is tunihack ? ? It’s a software-engineering Hackathon, to be held in Tunisia on December 9 and 10th 2017, that will give developers the opportunity to put into practice their coding-skills to solve real-world engineering challenges.

SMART Governance is the use of innovative policies, business models, and technology to address the financial, environmental, and service challenges facing public sector organizations. The concept of Smart Government relies on consolidated information systems and communication networks.

Does this cost money?

Nope! Admission is absolutely for free. Furthermore, participation includes unlimited supplies of food, caffeine, beverages, and a lot of fun throughout the event.

who Can attend?

The event is open for everybody. Everyone is welcomed to attend the keynote speeches, the workshops, the discussion panel and the animation all night long.

Who have to register ?

the registration is for the hackathon (the programming competition). Otherwise, the participation in the different conferences and workshops requires no registration

How can I register ?

Just fill in the form provided below ! Since we have a limited groupe number, your motivation will be very important in the selection .

What should I bring?

Bring your laptop along with you and your 3g key if possible. We'll take care of the food, beverages, toiletries, and much more. Feel free to bring your pillows, towels, headphones, etc.

Event Rules

Registration: online registration ends on November,21 at Midnight, or when maximum event capacity is reached.

Team requirement: teams may be composed of minimum 3 and maximum 5 eligible participants.

No Offsite development: all developments should be performed on-site between the start date and the end date of the event.

OpenSource: participants are permitted to use only open source tools/code.

in order to follow the work of teams, receive assistance by our technical consultants and prevent any sort of cheating, teams are required to spend the 24 hours in the hackerspace.
We do not have rights to any of your code. You own your code. Every team will have a maximum of 8 minutes to present their solution. Only one shot is allowed. Selecting winners: don't worry, your solution will be judged by professional software engineers. Detailed ranking criteria will be exhibited during event day.

Mr Sami Belhadj & Mss Imen Ayari

Mss Imen Ayari and Mr Sami Belhadj, both head of innovation at respectively Talan and New Access will give you a close insight about the blockchain technology and its use cases. You will know about the anatomy of a blockchain system and understand the concept of a consensus algorithm.

Mr Bechir Nemlaghi

You will learn what are chatbots, how can they be so responsive to human commands and how they use natural language processing to understand your commands. Also you will learn what are the open source platforms on which you can develop your own chatbot for your website or facebook page.

Cloud Computing
This workshop is an introductory class to cloud computing. During the session Mr Hamdi will present the cloud technology and will guide you through some practical examples. Bring on your laptops. It's a great opportunity for 3rd year student in order to review what they alreday have seen and a Chance for the 2nd Year student too because By the end of the session you can propose yourself for an end of studies or a PCD project

GlobaLeaks has been developed as a case-management system not only a whistleblowing platform. We take into consideration the concern over the reports' quality and actionability and the need for filters. This is why we have been developing and integrating elaborate questionnaires and we would like to bring them to Tunisia. The activities fit under the TuniHack’s theme, precisely fighting corruption in the health sector bringing the Hermes Center expertise in this field.
